This pen rest is crafted from solid Japanese cherry wood then dyed with repeated layers of indigo. Its shape was designed to hold any pen without the need for direct placement. The natural beauty of the wood grain is accentuated by the deep indigo finish. Each pen rest is hand dyed by an indigo artisan and finished with beeswax for a touch of softness. The color will gently fade with time and use.
