The Pilot Kire-Na is a dual tipped highlighter specially designed to dry quickly, reduce smudging, and draw a perfectly straight line each time. The chisel tip end uses a "Kitchen Guide" made of transparent plastic which helps keep the tip firmly planted on the page for an even highlighted line. To use it, press the tip to the page, and lean the Kire-Na highlighter to the side so that the plastic "Kitchen Guide" is touching the page. Then, highlight like normal. Keeping the plastic in contact with the page adds added stability and ensures that the line will maintain consistent contact with even the most curved pages, such as textbooks.
